Vice president of Membership Notes
Recruitment Parties-- We still have one more recruitment party this year on September 9th at 1:00 pm at the Reston Regional
Library on 11925 Bowman Towne Drive. Attire is Pin or Badge clothes. Please email Tanya at tamme2@csc.com if you don't remember
what food you have signed up to bring.
Please remember to bring your checkbook to the recruitment party or the first meeting to pay your dues, which is $40.
If you are not going to be at the party or first meeting, please mail your check to Edwyna. Her address is 12906 Mount Royal
Lane, Fairfax, VA 22033.
Also, Edwyna has Entertainment books for sell. The cost is $25.
Vice President of Programming Notes
Calendar for Fall-- We will be alternating our chapter meetings between Tuesdays and Wednesdays to allow for everyone to attend
our meetings at least every other month.
Our meetings for fall are all at 7:00 pm. and are as follows:
September 12th-- Salsa dancing lessons. Bring your dancing shoes for an evening of Mexican food and fun. The cost for
the salsa class will be $10. Depending on how many sign up, I'll see if our budget will allow us to defer the cost. Also,
ladies will have to take turns leading unless you want to bring your significant others. RSVP to mariamarcantonio@hotmail.com.
Time: 7-7:30 meeting; 7:30-8:30 Salsa lesson, 8:30 forward. You are invited to stay for dinner. Location: The restaurant
is Picante Restaurant at 14511 Lee Jackson Memorial Pkwy (Rt. 50), Suite B Chantilly, Virginia 20151 (Inside the street mall
at the intersection with Rt. 50 and Aviation Dr.) (703) 222-2323 We will have a reserved table, ask for the Zeta Alumnae.
October 9th-- Potluck. This is also the month for Founder's Day and our THINK PINK service project. Sign up sheets for
the potluck will be at the September meeting. This will be at Edwyna's house in Fairfax.
November 14th-- Cookie exchange
December-- No meeting. Holiday party and Toys for Tots. Date and time TBD
Spring Meeting Dates:
January 15th, February 10th, March 12th, April 8th, and May 14th.
April 5th - Virginia Zeta Day hosted by NoVA in Falls Church.

Vicki Richmond-- As you saw in my earlier e-mail, I had gall bladder surgery last Tuesday, August 28th. I am slowly improving
and hoping to make it to our second recruitment party and our first chapter meeting
